Watch: Our gutter and valley waterproofing process in action
Our 6-Step Gutter Repair & Lining Process
Every industrial gutter project follows a structured, systematic approach designed to deliver lasting waterproofing with minimal disruption to your operations.
Survey & Access Check
We begin with a site survey to inspect every metre of gutter, identify corrosion, cracks, joint failures, and ponding, and confirm access — whether by scaffold, MEWP, or rope access.
A free written survey report accompanies every quotation.
Cleaning & Debris Removal
Every gutter run is cleared of leaves, silt, moss and debris. Stubborn contamination is removed with low-pressure cleaning to avoid damaging the existing substrate.
Liquid rubber only bonds to clean, dry surfaces — preparation is critical.
Corrosion Treatment
Rusted metal sections and cut-edge corrosion are treated with Brunox rust converter, which chemically stabilises existing rust and stops further corrosion beneath the new lining.
Untreated rust is the primary reason liquid coatings lift and blister — we eliminate that failure mode.
Priming
A specialist primer is applied across the full gutter length, ensuring maximum adhesion of the liquid rubber membrane to metal, PVC, or concrete substrates.
The right primer selection depends on the substrate — we match the system to your gutter.
Seamless Liquid Rubber Membrane
The liquid rubber waterproofing is applied in multiple coats, often with reinforcement at joints and outlets. The result is a continuous, flexible, seamless membrane bonded to the existing gutter.
One membrane — no sealed joints, no overlap seams, no traditional failure points.
Final Inspection & Handover
A final walkover inspects every metre of lined gutter, verifies outlet drainage, and documents the completed works. You receive a written workmanship warranty.

Gutter Repair or Roof Valley Repair — Which Do You Need?
These two services are often confused because both channel rainwater and both can leak. They are, however, different parts of the roof — and the repair approach differs.
Gutter
Runs along the edges and perimeters of the roof, or as a box gutter between roof sections. Collects rainwater and directs it to downpipes. Typical industrial gutters run 20m–50m+ on long buildings.
You're on the right page. Continue below to book a gutter survey, or read our FAQ.
Roof Valley
A junction where two roof slopes meet. Usually internal to the roof structure, often lined with metal, PVC, or lead. Channels water away from where two pitched sections converge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often from warehouse, factory, and commercial building owners.
Yes. We specialise in repairing leaking industrial and warehouse gutters — including long box gutter runs, perimeter gutters, and A-roof buildings with long central or perimeter gutter runs. Our liquid rubber lining seals existing gutters in place, without the cost and disruption of full replacement.
In most cases, yes. Where the substrate is sound, we can line existing metal or PVC gutters by treating corrosion, priming, and applying a seamless liquid rubber membrane directly over the existing gutter. This bonds to the original surface and forms a continuous watertight channel — no tear-out required.
Our liquid rubber gutter lining is designed to extend the service life of your existing metal gutter — not replace it. The membrane bonds to the metal substrate, remains flexible after curing, accommodates thermal movement, and resists UV degradation. Rather than issuing a fixed gutter warranty, we focus on getting many additional years of reliable performance out of the gutter you already have, with a written workmanship warranty on our application.
Yes. Box gutters — both internal (hidden within the roof structure) and external perimeter box gutters — are one of our primary specialities. We treat corrosion, reinforce joints, and apply a seamless liquid rubber lining that restores waterproofing without replacement.
Gutter repair targets specific defects — sealing joints, patching leaks, or replacing short sections. Gutter lining is a full-length treatment that coats the entire gutter interior with a liquid rubber membrane, creating a seamless waterproof channel. For long industrial runs or gutters with multiple failure points, lining typically outlasts spot repairs.
Yes. We regularly work on warehouses, factories, agricultural sheds, retail units, and industrial estate buildings across Ireland. Our teams are experienced with long gutter runs (30m+), complex roof geometries, and projects that need minimal business disruption during the works.
